How much does it cost to list?

Nothing. No setup fees, no monthly fees, no lock-in contracts. We invoice a flat 9% commission monthly, only on bookings where the guest actually stayed.

How do I get paid?

Instantly — guests pay you directly, exactly as they do now, under your own booking terms. We never hold or handle your money. The only money that moves between us is our monthly 9% invoice.

What happens if a guest cancels or doesn't show up?

Your cancellation policy applies, and because guests pay you directly there's no refund routed through us. Cancellations and no-shows generate no commission — they cost you nothing.

Can I set different rates for different dates?

Yes. If your booking system is connected, your rates sync automatically. Managing manually, the availability grid lets you override your base rate on any date.

Do I need to match my rates on other platforms?

No. Unlike the big booking sites, we don't require rate parity. You're free to set whatever rates you like on HotelPath, and offer better prices than elsewhere if you choose.

What is AI distribution?

HotelPath has a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini search and book your property programmatically. When a traveller asks an AI to find a hotel in your city, your property can show up — no ad spend required.

How long does setup take?

On Hostaway, most properties are live in under 5 minutes — the import does the work. Setting up manually takes about 15–20 minutes, mostly entering room types and availability.
